What You See May Be Smoke And Mirrors
Today the Las Cruces Tea Party will voice their objection in a show of solidarity against the Obama/Reid/Pelosi Health Care bill and SB 1689 Wilderness bill at the gathering of a Senator Udall showing. Hopefully it will be these many voices that Udall will hear when voting for or against the two bills. It seems as though both he and Bingaman have a stubborn streak and do not listen to the majority, only what they think is good for the people in their minds. It is reminiscent of having to take castor oil as a child and being told by my parents that it was good for me, though the castor oil make me feel worse than the malady at the time.

To recap for a moment the pros and cons of the Health Care bill that the majority do not want. It will not benefit the people and will add a tremendous debt burden on the shoulders of the generations to come after us, it will take this country into a program of Socialism that broke many countries, such as the Weimar Republic and Argentina, it promotes euthanasia, tears apart another social program that citizens have paid into for many years and gives the federal government a massive amount of control over all of our lives.

On the plus side, there is no benefit to the American people as a whole, but is the most costly boondoggle that has ever come out of Washington.

Now to the SB 1689 Wilderness bill; it will create an area that many will shy away from because of the increased crime that will come to the area through drug and illegal alien smuggling, it will become a no man’s land that Border Patrol and police will not be able to do their work in, it will put many honest ranchers out of business and endanger their families and it will be a breeding ground for lawlessness that will shortly enter every town and city in the southern part of New Mexico. When the land is under the protection of the Wilderness Act, it will become fallow land that will be of no use to anyone, the wild animals will leave the area for lack of water, and it will become a wasteland again, as it was before it became Wilderness.

On the plus side it will be protected from the human species in perpetuity, managed into an area of not beauty, but ugliness created by the smuggling activities in the area, it will be used by none, not even the animals and will become a drain on the already overburdened economy. If these can be called pluses for the people it escapes me.

Other Problems
One other problem we seem to look past that will come back to plague us in the future is the problem of encroachment of Islam on this country. It has been said that all the Muslim faith wants is to live in peace with the rest of the world. This may be true as far as the faith and their mosques, but the radicals that preach death to the infidel and bomb places like the twin towers, killing thousands of innocent people beggars a different view.

The people of Germany thought the same thing about the Nazis before they came to power and even afterward. It is the fanatics that cause many shooting wars, worldwide. It is the fanatics who slaughter whole religious and ethnic groups around the entire world. It is the fanatics who murder, behead, bomb, and kill in the name of honor. It is the fanatics that have taken over the mosques of the world and stone, hang and rape victims who do not bow to their will. And it is fanatics who teach the young to become suicide bombers, instilling in them that they will attain a world of peace and tranquility in the after life, while the majority is cowed and are the outsiders of their religion.

Communist Russia was a country that just wanted to live in peace until one fanatic gained control and murdered 20 million people, while the peaceful majority stood by and watched it happen. China was peaceful as well, until Mao came to power on the wave of a radical movement and then the majority stood by and watched as 70 million people were put to death. The average Japanese were a peaceful people before the outset of WW-II, yet when a few radical militarists came to power, they raped, slaughtered and starved their way across Asia and the Pacific, including the systematic killing of 12 million Chinese by sword and bayonet.

Then of course there was Rwanda and its collapse into butchery under the rule of a few radicals. Before the radicals took over the government the Rwandans were a peace loving people. History is something we can all learn from and should; but we do not. The peace loving Muslims have lost control of their religion to the radicals and will become our enemies, simply because the majority stood by and let the radicals take control by their silence.

Any majority who stands by and lets the minority, (the radicals) gain control are as guilty as the radicals they did not protest and they will be the ones to reap the whirlwind of horror that will be the aftermath. Passiveness is an illness that can cause our deaths at the hands of the radicals that infiltrate and spread their vitriolic hate among us. To stand idly by and allow this to happen makes us all guilty and are irrelevant.
