The Problems We Face
It is imminently clear that our government is not working well and many of us would like to know what can be done to put it back on the right track. This question is multifaceted questions that requires many answers -- and in turn -- many actions to correct. We have to look at the head of our leadership, being of course Barack Obama, for the answer to the first part of the question.

It is in his mind, all about Barack Obama, and the idea that he has been mandated by the people to lead this nation in a direction that is completely diverse from the direction the majority wish it to go. But when things do not go as planned, he has to pace the blame on someone else, such as Bush, the problems he inherited, or some other entity. This is the way any person suffering from the malady our President has. It is his ego that tells him he must take the nation in the direction he sees fit, even against the wishes of the majority. This is called egotism and is shown in all his speeches, because of his constant reference to himself and his ideas.

In the position Obama holds, this is a dangerous malady, simply because he has the lives of millions of people in his hands and his decisions can harm many or all of them. If ever a President should be replaced, Obama is a prime candidate. We as a people can ill afford his blunders, his egotism, along with other maladies that can be harmful to Americans. I am of an age that I have seen what can happen to a nation who sits on their hands and does nothing when faced with just such a person. Many of us that lived through the Second World War saw it happen in Germany, Japan, and even in Russia after the Second World War.

We have read about it in history with the rise of Genghis Khan in what we know today as China, we have all read about Rome and its fall into ruin when this type of ruler became mad and burned the most powerful city-state of its time. There are many cases we can go back and look at history and see a similar type of leader as Barack Obama. Do we wait for something this catastrophic magnitude to happen with our own President, or do we use our power to remove him from office and stop the madness before it gets completely out of hand?

The Foundation Of Our Nation
Thomas Jefferson one said, “It is to me a new and consolatory proof that wherever the people are well informed they can be trusted with their own government; that whenever things get so far wrong as to attract their notice, they may be relied on to set them to rights.”

I have always believed in those words and will forever hold them close to my heart. It is now a time when one certain thing has attracted the attention of the people, with this Obama/Reid/Pelosi Health Care Bill and the pressure our President has placed on the governing bodies to pass it, though it is highly detrimental to the nation, that I have considered anew the words of Thomas Jefferson. It is a time we as our own governing body need to set things right. We need to stop the insane wishes of one man in particular, Barack Obama and a handful of radical legislators, Reid and Pelosi and take back our right to govern ourselves. To allow this travesty to go on is only condoning, what we know as red-blooded Americans, as a catastrophe in the making.
